About Us

We are a team of Wedding Planners, Photographers and Videographers based between Japan and New Zealand.

All our team members are English speaking Japanese citizens or residents, with passions for celebrating down-to-earth human connections, and guiding people on new adventures.

Our business in New Zealand involves Wedding adventures to incredible mountain top locations via helicopters, but we are also fond of the historic and cultural settings of our roots in Japan.

Our team members are on a rotationery schedule between Japan and New Zealand, for new adventures, change of scenery and connection to family.

What started as a passion for creating beautiful wedding photos in 2012, has evolved into an obsession for intimate wedding celebrations.

With a larger team now, James mainly focuses on operational management.

Originally from Japan, James spent 6 years in Singapore and 22 years in New Zealand.

Now based in Niseko, Hokkaido Japan.

Aiko is our Wedding Planner in Tokyo, the logistical enabler of all your Wedding Plans in Japan.

From venue permits to floral styling, reception decorations, outfit rentals, guest transport, hair and makeup and even arranging food trucks for your wedding – she can do it all.

Chebi is our Shikoku based Photographer and Videographer turned Planner. She maneuvers around the tricky permits situations in Kyoto with ease, ensuring that your day will go smoothly.

Yuri is our do-everything person, primarily our Wedding Planner for Okinawa. She is also a Lead Photographer, Videographer, Drone Pilot and sometimes Celebrant, Florist and Makeup Artist. The only thing she can’t do is fly a helicopter.

Slow and steady wins the race – after the rapid growth period we experienced during COVID-19 and the Post-COVID Boom, our priority is set on sustainable continuation of Customer Satisfaction & Team Satisfaction, rather than short term gains.
