About Us
We are a team of Wedding Planners, Photographers and Videographers based between Japan and New Zealand.
All our team members are English speaking Japanese citizens or residents, with passions for celebrating down-to-earth human connections, and guiding people on new adventures.
Our business in New Zealand involves Wedding adventures to incredible mountain top locations via helicopters, but we are also fond of the historic and cultural settings of our roots in Japan.
Our team members are on a rotationery schedule between Japan and New Zealand, for new adventures, change of scenery and connection to family.

James
Creative Director
What started as a passion for creating beautiful wedding photos in 2012, has evolved into an obsession for intimate wedding celebrations.
With a larger team now, James mainly focuses on operational management.
Originally from Japan, James spent 6 years in Singapore and 22 years in New Zealand.
Available in Japan in June & September~October.
Tomomi
Studio Manager
Tomomi brings 12 years of tour guiding & travel agency experience in Queenstown, and resides with her family with 3 kids.
She is the glue that holds the team together, keeping things under control especially under tight pressure.
Tomomi is in Japan in May.
Sam
Photo
Originally from England, Sam resides in Tokyo photographing Weddings and Elopements for the inbound tourism market.
Sam is passionate about showing Japan’s natural beauty, has a military background and speaks fluent Thai.
Sam is in Japan between October~June, and spends the hotter summer months travelling around Asia and Europe.
Ayaka
Photo + Video
Ayaka is a very experienced Wedding Photographer, having done over 500+ weddings in Japan, between Osaka and Tokyo in the mainland.
Her style is soft, natural and graceful – for couples wanting something low-key and elegant.
Ayaka is in Japan between May~June & November, and is based in New Zealand the rest of the year.
