Valentina & Jesse – Chiba Japan Intimate Wedding

For 10 years, we’ve wanted to bring down to earth, western style weddings to Japan, because of how rigid and stiff the standard weddings in Japan are.

From the get go, we loved the vision Valentina and Jesse had for their wedding – a mix of Japanese tradition and a cozy, laid back approach to celebrations.

One of the challenges was around food – most of their guests were coming from America and Australia, and Japanese traditional fine dining with all sorts of fancy sea creatures and plants you’ve never heard of.. wasn’t really something suitable for their guests.
We both agreed that Japanese comfort food would be the way to go.

To keep things in line with their Japanese family roots, the ceremony itself was done at a Buddhist Temple in Chiba – surrounded by beautiful bamboo groves, traditional Samurai houses and tea houses.
