Anna & Doug | Kyoto Japan Elopement Wedding
Sort of like a hamburger or a bowl of Ramen, there are many ingredients that come together to make the perfect piece.
A serene and tranquil venue in Kyoto @hakuryuen, beautiful outfits from @kyotokimono_kyolan, an extra Kagamibiraki Sake Ceremony thanks to @kinryo_sake, professional hair & makeup by @yui.hair.make, a wonderful ceremony and legal marriage assistance by @tsurukyotoweddingsvowrenewal, even the @leica_camera_japan M10P’s add to the recipe.
But the most important ingredient for the perfect wedding in Kyoto, is to be madly in love with each other. That’s the special sauce.
Anna and Doug from the US, celebrated their love on the 4th of July – the American independence day.
Japanese Weddings are strange with many old traditions and strict rules.
The love, joy, passion and freedom that Anna and Doug brought into the day, was in a way the embodiment of the American way.
You can’t fake love – you either have it or you don’t, and the camera doesn’t lie.
When there is so much love, it’s too easy for us to capture, and to even write about like this.
Congratulations, and check out Daniel’s cool tie.
Special thanks to Chebi from the team for putting it all together – she is the chef, I as the photographer am merely the observer.
