Japan’s most romantic
countryside, made yours
You did not travel halfway around the world for ordinary. Furano in summer is Hokkaido at its most breathtaking: sweeping lavender rows, patchwork wildflower farms, and long golden evenings that seem to last forever.
Most couples only see Farm Tomita through a tour bus window. We take you into it. Purple rows stretching to the mountain horizon. Warm evening light falling across open fields. The kind of images that stop people mid-scroll and stay on walls for decades.
Our local Hokkaido team handles permits, timing, transport, styling direction, and every logistical detail. When you arrive in Furano, your only job is to be present.
Far fewer tourists.
Far more intimacy.
Furano offers something the major cities cannot. Space, quiet, and landscapes that feel genuinely yours.
Vast Rural Landscapes
Rolling farmland, mountain backdrops, and flower fields that stretch to the horizon. Furano gives you scale and colour that no temple garden or city backdrop can match. Hokkaido at its most cinematic.
Local Team, Local Knowledge
We are English-speaking Hokkaido residents with deep ties to the local wedding industry. We know which fields are open, when the light peaks, how to avoid the tour groups, and which local vendors to trust.
Symbolic Ceremonies Done Beautifully
Most couples handle legal paperwork at home and celebrate a symbolic ceremony in Furano. We help design something intimate and personal: vows, flowers, a celebrant if needed, and a day that feels entirely yours.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Furano Elopements
Do you offer legal wedding ceremonies in Furano?
We do not offer legal marriage support in Furano or Hokkaido. Most couples celebrate a symbolic ceremony in Furano and handle their legal paperwork at home before or after the trip. This keeps the experience simple, personal, and completely focused on you. If a legal ceremony in Japan is important to you, we offer that service in Kyoto.
When is the best time of year for a Furano elopement?
July is the sweet spot for lavender. Farm Tomita peaks in mid-July and the light during that window is extraordinary. Late June brings the first colour and tends to be quieter. Early August remains beautiful as wildflowers take over once the lavender fades. For lavender specifically, aim for the second and third weeks of July.
How far in advance should we book a Furano elopement?
Six to nine months ahead for lavender season. July books early, particularly mid-July when the bloom peaks. We do occasionally have last-minute availability and always encourage couples to reach out regardless of timing. We never overbook and only work with couples we are genuinely excited about.
What is included in a Furano elopement package?
Every package is tailored, but typically includes: wedding photography, English-language planning support, ground transport, ceremony coordination, a seasonal bouquet and buttonhole from a local Japanese florist, and hair and makeup by a local stylist. Videography, a marriage officiant, additional guest hair and makeup, and dinner reservations can all be added. Full details are shared during your enquiry consultation.
Do you offer videography as well as photography?
Yes. Ayaka, our lead videographer, is based in Hokkaido and specialises in cinematic short films. Most couples choose a three to five minute highlight film. Extended documentary coverage is also available. All video is coordinated alongside photography so you have one seamless team rather than two competing crews.
What if the weather is difficult on the day?
We work in all conditions and monitor forecasts closely in the lead-up to your session. Overcast skies and soft Hokkaido mist often produce our most atmospheric images. We advise on timing adjustments when needed and discuss backup options during planning so nothing catches you off guard on the day.
How do we get to Furano from Tokyo?
The most common route is a short flight from Haneda or Narita to New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, followed by a train or rental car to Furano, roughly two hours. We include detailed travel and logistics guidance as part of our planning process and can recommend accommodation at every price point. Getting here is simpler than it looks on the map.
